The tragedy yesterday in Bondi has shaken all of us. Our hearts are breaking with our community.
Yesterday’s events were not an attack on one community, one faith or one identity. They were an attack on all of us — on our shared sense of safety, humanity and belonging as Australians.
Today we’re thinking of:
• The victims and their families
• The witnesses, first responders and health workers
• Everyone who is feeling deeply saddened, angry,
frightened, numb.
Strong feelings after an attack like this are normal — shock, anxiety, trouble sleeping, replaying images in your mind, or feeling on edge.
If this is you, please reach out: talk to someone you trust, step away from constant news and scrolling when you need to, and seek professional help if things are not easing with time.
Our team of doctors and psychologists are here to offer a safe space to debrief, check in on your physical and mental health, and connect you with extra support if needed.
From our family to yours, we choose compassion over hate and togetherness over division.
Healing grows in care, courage and solidarity.
We are here for you 💔
