With a newborn and a toddler, cooking fresh lunch every day just isn’t realistic for me.
So a little forward planning goes a long way.

This batch is designed to:
• keep me fed across the week
• support energy levels while breastfeeding
• require very little prep or decision-making

I chose a plant-based protein this time, but you can easily swap in chicken if that suits you better.
And I skip the noodle flavour sachets — they’re high in sodium and additives, and the tamari, sesame oil + honey give plenty of flavour on their own.

This is what nourishment looks like for me right now:
simple, flexible, and supportive of the season I’m in.

I didn’t plan to film this.

I was just making lunch while feeding my baby and realised how clearly it reflects what I believe about nourishment — that it should fit into real life, not require stepping away from it.

Nourishment doesn’t need ideal conditions. It needs enough food, some consistency where possible, and the ability to adapt as life changes.
Early postpartum is no exception.

This is care, as it looks right now — practical, imperfect, and still meaningful.

A little life update 💜
Our daughter Violet has arrived, and we’re settling into this new season as a family.
I’ll be a little quieter here for a short while as I soak up this time.
Nourish & Move isn’t going anywhere — I’ll be back sharing when it feels right. ✨

Pregnancy nutrition changes across each trimester — and that’s normal.

Rather than chasing perfection, focusing on the key priorities of each stage can make eating feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

Save this cheat sheet for later, or share it with someone who’s pregnant and needs simple, realistic guidance.

Working in nutrition has taught me this over and over again:
you can’t assess someone’s health, experience, or wellbeing from how they look.

Pregnancy is no different.

As I move into these final days/weeks, I’m still showing up for myself in the ways that feel supportive — and I’ll likely be a little quieter here as baby arrives (and for a little while after).

Support > assumptions. Always.

Pregnancy looks different on every body - and it isn't always obvious how it feels from the outside.

Some bumps show early, some stay subtle, and every journey is unique.

This is a reminder: every body, every pregnancy, every experience is valid. 💚

December asks a lot of your brain and body — more decisions, more social energy, more planning, more emotional load.

It’s no surprise that your nervous system can feel stretched thin this time of year.
And when life feels busy, your cortisol often ramps up too.
Here’s the truth:
✨ You don’t need strict rules, a perfect routine, or a “clean December” to stay well.
✨ What actually helps is supporting the system underneath it all — your nervous system, your hormones, your basic needs.

Simple, steady habits make the biggest impact:
• regular meals so your blood sugar stays stable
• early-ish nights so your cortisol can regulate
• a little movement to clear the mental pressure
• slower mornings (even 5 minutes)
• less “all or nothing,” more “this is my best effort for today”

Think of it as protecting your peace — not performing your habits.
And if you’re heading into 2026 wanting to feel more grounded, confident and supported with your nutrition, I’d love to help you get there.
You don’t have to juggle it all alone.

If you want coaching that gives you clarity, structure and support — send me a DM with “SUPPORT” and let’s chat about your goals.

December doesn’t need fixing.
And it definitely doesn’t need punishment.

Enjoy the food.
Have the chocolate, the pavlova, the extra plate if you want it.
One meal (or one week) doesn’t undo your progress when you are consistent long-term.

What does matter is how you care for yourself in between:
✨ drinking enough water
✨ getting some protein in most meals
✨ moving your body gently when you can
✨ letting balance do its job

You don’t need to “be good” in December, and you don’t need a reset button in January.

Just consistency, compassion, and perspective 💚

Most people don’t struggle with what to eat… but with all the confusing rules about when to eat.

Here are 4 big meal timing myths you can finally let go of 👇🏼

✨ MYTH: Eating frequently speeds up your metabolism.
FACT: Metabolic rate doesn’t change based on meal frequency.

✨ MYTH: Eating late causes weight gain.
FACT: Overeating does — not the time on the clock.

✨ MYTH: Skipping breakfast is “bad.”
FACT: Breakfast is optional — not essential.

✨ MYTH: You must eat immediately after training.
FACT: Daily intake > perfect nutrient timing.
Pre/post-workout nutrition helps — but it’s the cherry on top, not the foundation.
Consistent daily protein, calories, and quality training matter far more.

✨ The truth:
Your body responds best to consistency, balanced nutrition, enough protein, and a routine that fits your life.
Meal timing is flexible — not something you need to stress over.

Save this for later, or share it with someone who needs the reminder 💚
And if you're ready for nutrition that finally makes sense, my 1:1 coaching spots are open.

Holiday season reminder: you don’t need to be perfect to make progress.

The truth is — one day won’t undo months of effort, and your body won’t forget your habits just because life gets festive.

Here are the basics I give all my clients this time of year:
✨ Don’t skip meals (it leads to overeating later)
✨ Prioritise sleep
✨ Add colour to your plate
✨ Keep protein on every meal
✨ Savour your food — don’t rush or “stuff”
✨ Keep healthy snacks on hand
✨ Get outside for some movement
✨ And most importantly… be kind to yourself.

The holidays are meant to be enjoyed.
Balance, not perfection, is what keeps you moving forward. 💛
