Receptionist / Bookkeeper
Physio 4 Life is a friendly, patient-focused physiotherapy practice committed to helping our clients move better and live healthier lives. We are looking for an organised and personable Receptionist / Bookkeeper to join our team and help keep the practice running smoothly at our Elizabeth head office.
About the Role
This is a key front-of-house and administrative role combining reception duties with bookkeeping support. You will be the first point of contact for our patients while also managing day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Administration
• Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional first impression
• Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and enquiries (in person, phone, and email)
• Maintaining accurate patient records and filing systems
• Supporting physiotherapists with general administrative tasks
Bookkeeping
• Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling daily transactions
• Assisting with payroll and basic financial reporting
• Liaising with the practice manager as required
About You
• Previous experience in reception, administration, or bookkeeping (healthcare experience an advantage but not essential)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office, Cloud Payroll, MYOB and PPMP (training will be provided)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
