Eltham Counselling Services would like welcome Clinical Psychologist Dr Mateja Popovic to our clinic.

Mateja focuses on working in a collaborative and non-judgmental way to create a safe space for clients to share their stories and develop goals that they would like to work toward in therapy. She draws upon a range of interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

Mateja’s areas of expertise and interest include:
Depression, Anxiety disorders, Trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Stress reduction, Family challenges, Interpersonal and relationship challenges, Life transitions and adjustments, Self-esteem challenges and Goal setting and motivation.
