It is easy to get confused on how to dress and blanket a newborn when the weather can change from day to night, and we warm or cool our houses differently.

We know that babies sleep well when they are warm, and the air temperature are cooler, but we can’t always control this with a new baby.

The above guides are just the averages. A rule of thumb is in the summer they wear one less layer than we have on and in the winter, they wear one more layer than we have on.

E.g. if you have a winter baby and they have on a singlet and onesie on and you are going out into the cold or windy they may need a cardigan on that will be removed when you get home.

Great explanation of a laser tongue tongue procedure. Dr Kestenberg is one of many of the dentists that do this procedure in Melbourne. Happy to assess your baby for tongue tie and refer if needed.
