The School Refusal Clinic can help! We specialize in helping students of all ages and abilities with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic problems who have difficulty getting off to school regularly in creative, engaging, and collaborative ways. Our approach includes:

An initial 90-minute assessment session with “Max the Therapy Dog.”
at the clinic with both you and your child.

“Walk

and Talk” outdoor exposure therapy sessions along St. Kilda Beach or the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens. Drone flying and dog play at the St. Kilda beach to make the sessions more engaging and fun! Child-focused parent support. Return to school planning meetings onsite with you, your child, and key staff. Homework support to assist with schoolwork your child has difficulty putting pen to paper or fingers to keys. Social skill development groups during the school holidays to build social confidence and resilience. Personal training, one on one or in gym-based groups to build physical strength and resilience on the weekends throughout the year. Coaching sessions to develop a targeted, goal focused strategic plan. Telehealth online sessions. Professional Development training for Schools. Medicare rebates are available!
