Mel and Haven made hearts happy and gave back to a beautiful thing called 💜 The Brave Box 💜 this trolley is used to give some happiness after children have their treatment and it has definitely given Haven plenty of smiles after many rough days ❤️ so they wanted to help make other children smile, this trolley is stocked purely through donations 🙂 Mel will be home this week for a few days and if anyone would like to donate please comment or send me a message as mel plans to take an empty suitcase back so she will have loads of room 😍 Teenagers can be quite tricky to find things for so even gift vouchers are a great idea, thank-you x

Our beautiful friends, Sue and Robert Noy and their gorgeous family have been dealt a devastating blow that has turned their world upside down.
Recently, their bright and bubbly 6 year old granddaughter, Haven Charles was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Brisbane. Chemotherapy will be weekly for up to 8 months with ongoing treatments needed over the next 2-3 years.
Haven and her family live in Emerald, over 800km from her treatment in Brisbane.
Since being diagnosed, Haven's family have been separated, with Haven and her Mum residing in Brisbane during treatment and her Dad and two brothers (aged 8 and 10) remaining in Emerald to maintain some sort of work/school balance.
This separation has been extremely difficult for the family unit.
There have been small windows of opportunity during treatment that has allowed Haven and her Mum to return home for short periods of time and times when Haven's Dad and brothers have been able to join the girls in Brisbane.
This all comes at a huge emotional and financial cost as travel between Emerald and Brisbane (road and air) is tiring and expensive.
Fundraising efforts by family and friends has made this back and forth travel possible and doable to help keep this beautiful family connected.
