⚠️ Product Correction - Flixotide and Pavtide Accuhalers⚠️

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Australia Pty Ltd is issuing a product correction for certain batches of their Flixotide and Pavtide Accuhalers as a small number of Accuhalers may not automatically reload the next dose.

The Accuhaler will function normally for several doses (anywhere between 20-59 doses) and may then stop working.

If the dose is not manually reset, this may lead to a short-term flare-up of asthma symptoms.

In the unlikely event you have an impacted device (where the lever is in the incorrect starting position) do not stop using your Accuhaler.

Prestige Training would like to wish all of our customers a very Happy Easter 🐇🥚🍫

I’ve been a very busy bunny leading into the break and have (once again!) reworked the training room layout. The zigzag setup was starting to bother me, so I’ve hopefully created something that works a lot better making it easier for students to move around the room and clearly see the front during demonstrations.

As always, I’m open to your feedback. If you preferred the old setup or have thoughts on the new one, feel free to share in the comments. At the end of the day, it’s important that you’re comfortable and can see everything clearly while training.

On another note, I’ll be taking some much-needed time off over the school holidays to spend with my loved ones. Response and processing times may be a bit slower than usual during this period.

Wishing you all a safe and enjoyable Easter. I hope the Easter Bunny spoils you!

🚨🍫 Easter egg allergen warning 🍫🚨

Our National Allergy Helpline has received multiple calls this week about Woolworths Milk Chocolate and Caramel Milk Chocolate Easter eggs, which now contain peanuts and some tree nuts.

Please note these Easter eggs (including the plain milk chocolate variety) now contain peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts and macadamia nuts as ingredients.

While the allergen change is communicated on the front of the packets and in the ingredients list as per legislation requirements, we're hearing that many shoppers are putting them in their trolleys without noticing, as these eggs were previously available without peanuts and tree nuts as ingredients.

As always, we encourage you to check ingredients lists and allergen summary statements on every product you buy, every time - especially seasonal products that you've purchased previously. Manufacturers can change ingredients and allergen alerts on the front of packets can be easy to miss.

Easter can be a high-risk time for anyone with food allergies, but particularly children participating in Easter egg hunts. Being vigilant, double-checking ingredients and knowing what others are giving to your child is critical in reducing risk.
