🌱 Studying Towards Certificate III Educator – Join Our Team! 🌱

We are seeking a passionate and motivated educator who is currently studying towards their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our supportive and dynamic team.

This is a full-time position (preferred), however we are open to negotiating part-time or casual employment for the right candidate.

About the Role:
You will be working alongside experienced educators to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in a nurturing early childhood environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills while completing your qualification.

What We’re Looking For:
●Currently studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willing to begin
●A genuine passion for working with children
●Strong communication and teamwork skills
●A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
●Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

First5Years Early Learning in Emerald is looking to connect with local gardening and landscaping businesses for ongoing outdoor maintenance support.

We are exploring options for:
- Regular, scheduled garden and yard maintenance
- General upkeep to keep our outdoor spaces looking their best
- Potential future landscaping improvements and upgrades

Our outdoor environments are an important part of our children’s daily learning and play, so we’re always looking for ways to continue improving and maintaining these spaces.

Making the Most of Your Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Are you looking for quality early learning for your child? Here’s something every family should know about: the Centrelink 72-hour Child Care Subsidy (CCS) guarantee.

Centrelink guarantees a minimum of 3 days (72 hours) of subsidised care per fortnight for eligible families. Because our centre offers 9, 10, and 11.5-hour sessions, those 72 hours could actually give your child access to up to 4 days of subsidised care!

This provides more flexibility for your family and ensures your child can enjoy consistent, high-quality learning and care throughout the week.

🎄✨ What a Wonderful Week of Christmas Celebrations! ✨🎄

We have had such a magical week celebrating Christmas at our service. From festive activities and joyful moments to laughter shared throughout the days, it has truly been a special time for everyone.

One of the highlights was our beautiful shared Christmas lunch, where all of our children and educators came together to enjoy a meal, connect, and celebrate as one big community. Seeing the children sharing food, smiles, and conversations with their friends and educators was incredibly heart-warming.

Thank you to our amazing educators for creating such a joyful and inclusive celebration, and to our families for being part of our wonderful community. 💛
