We are looking for a Receptionist at our busy Physiotherapy Practice
We’re looking for a switched-on, people-focused Receptionist to join our fast-paced physiotherapy practice.
This is not a “sit back and answer the phone” role. It’s front-line, high-energy, and critical to how our clients experience our clinic from the moment they walk in.

We’re a family-oriented physiotherapy practice that genuinely treats our clients like part of the family. That means warmth, professionalism, and making people feel comfortable—even when they’re in pain or having a rough day.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients—on the phone and in person. You’ll manage bookings, handle enquiries, keep things running smoothly, and make sure every client feels welcomed and looked after.
You’ll also play a key role in optimising our appointment diary—proactively filling gaps, managing our waitlist, and thinking outside the box to ensure our clinicians’ time is used effectively.
We value initiative—keeping the diary full is an essential skill.
HOURS
- Regular days likely Monday and Tuesday (school hours can be accommodated)
- Flexibility is essential
- Ability to cover leave for up to a week at a time when required
- This role would suit someone looking for part-time/casual work with the ability to step up when needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Fast learner who’s confident with technology and picking up new systems
- Comfortable using practice management software and sending professional emails
- Strong communication skills—clear, friendly, and professional on the phone and face-to-face
- Ability to think ahead and problem-solve, including filling last-minute appointment gaps from a waitlist
