🏆CENTRAL HIGHLANDS BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2025 🏆

The hard things are often followed by the fun things and often the hard stuff isn’t shared on social media!

These photos are the fun 🤩 with thanks to my beautiful sister & for supporting me as well as Adam & Maree (Fresh Gemz) & Leanne & Tracey to share the night with 💫 & we had a great night 💗

The hard stuff can’t be captured other than words:

⭐️ the hours putting together the application after nominating 😴

⭐️ the days of wondering & waiting the outcome from the judges 😅have I done enough!

⭐️ making it as a finalist (third time lucky 🍀) included a 😮‍💨 of relief

⭐️ shifting gears into freak out mode & the preparation for the judges site visit 😳

⭐️ judges visit followed by the self worth questioning and am I doing enough, should I be doing what I’m doing?

⭐️ uh oh 😬I now need a dress 👗 & what’s good enough…. more questioning of self worth!!!!!

⭐️ the call for help 🆘 I need friends to join me & celebrate 🍾

⭐️ oh 💩 I now have to get on stage & prep a speech 🎤

Such a roller coaster 🎢 and so worth it for the growth through the hard stuff all the way to the fun stuff.

I didn’t win but Anna from deserved the win and is providing amazing opportunities for the community. Community is what it’s all about and I was lucky enough to share the sole trader category with a couple of power house women.

NEW TIMETABLE OUT NOW!

The next few months are looking busy for me so make sure you check out the latest timetable, take a screenshot and book in where possible 💖

Thursday 4 September sees me at the Women’s Health Night instead of teaching I’ll be promoting yoga and mindfulness in the Central Highlands! Make sure you come along! I’m giving away free classes and the opportunity to win a 10 class pass 💗

I will be away for a very important 85th birthday to attend at the end of September and training in October!

Would a Long Slow Deep Yoga practice be the right class for you?

Well, I have some questions for you?

1️⃣ Do you spend a lot of time sitting?

2️⃣ Do you have injuries and you would like to find a class that will be slower pace and you can modify the movement to suit your needs?

3️⃣ Do you have zero time for yourself and exercising your body falls off the list of priorities all the time?

4️⃣ Are you a busy mum or carer who puts yourself last all of the time?

5️⃣ Do you live in a state of stress a fair amount of time?

6️⃣ Does the sound of a deep stretch in a space that’s quiet and lit with fairy lights appeal to you?

Well, how about 2hrs on Saturday 31 May in the afternoon just for you to move your body slowly into shapes that stretch your hamstrings, hips & spine?

A practice where you may leave feeling more relaxed and less sore than when you arrived.

You don’t have to think or know what you’re doing. I’ll guide you through each shape. And there’s the support from props used in yoga called bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets.

All of these are to help ease your body into position to stay there for a couple of minutes at a time.

I will be there to guide you, to help you get into the shapes and to be able to stay there where all you need to do is breath and focus on relaxing into the stretch.

Bring your mum, your dad, your daughter or son or a friend that deserves this time just as much as you do.

This day, so many emotions and memories 💝🥰💕

The day I received my level 1 yoga teacher training certificate from my amazing teacher and mentor

I was so excited! It was at the end of an amazing yoga retreat in Bowen, there was extra time with others to work on skills and development. I had my yogi friends around me and couldn’t contain my excitement and emotions 💝

Little did I know this was the beginning of cracking open the jar to the unknown depths that come from learning and living all things yoga and mindfulness.

Today marks the fifth year of Little Gem Yoga’s business journey.

This business has opened up so many possibilities and given me so many new perspectives. I’m extremely grateful and blessed to have all of your support over these past 5 years and beyond.

TIMETABLE UPDATE ~ JANUARY TO APRIL 2025

Are we you ready to plan your yoga classes with Kelly from Little Gem Yoga?

Classes are taught regularly by Kelly on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s 5:30pm in Emerald at various beautiful locations shared with us by our generous community. Wednesday you can find Kelly teaching at the Stadium Premier Fitness gym 6:30pm. Saturday classes 7:30am Sapphire Kangoulu Park are where it all began in 2017 and still continuing to this day.

Classes with Kelly vary from slow yoga Vinyasa flows, to slightly more intensity but still very inclusive yoga Vinyasa flows. She also loves to teach a core inspired yoga class targeting the abdominals, glutes, hamstrings and spine strength as well as targeting the seat of our will, our deep inner core.

Two to four times per year the 2 hour Long Slow Deep yoga feature class is held which gives you longer time in the shapes to create space for the body and the mind that targets the hips, spine and hamstrings where people have always commented how much better they feel after this class, even for days afterwards!

Also receive a loyalty pass where you will your 11th class for free just by collecting a heart stamp each visit to a class with Kelly. Not available at the Stadium Premier Fitness classes.
