Hills Physiotherapy are please to annouce the return of MYOTHERAPY, REMEDIAL MASSAGE, and GROUP SESSIONS (Pilates/Clinical Exercise) from tomorrow, 22 October.

We will open the online booking gateway late next week, but our therapists and reception team are working their way through their regular patients now. For the next few days please call the clinics on 1300 9 HILLS (1300 944 557) to book.

Today is R U Ok day, and it has never been more important to check in on your family and friends than right now. We know that there are many of you that are simply NOT ok.

We as physios know that one of the quickest and easiest ways to change your perspective and health is to get moving. We're not saying it's a cure all, but it' can certainly help.

We hope you are OK. If you're not OK, then you are safe to reach out to any one of our therapists and we can work out the next best logical steps for treatment, in our own clinic and by directing you to the best therapists beyond us.

But for today, get outside, get moving, and if you're not OK tell someone.

We've temporarily turned off our online bookings so we can work through through rebooking all patients affected by Stage 4 restrictions in Victoria. At this stage all services are effected, with physiotherapy, osteopathy and orthotist all currently being restricted to Telehealth only, as well and Massage, Myotherapy and Naturopathy. ALL exercise, group and individual is at this stage cancelled until next Thursday 18th of February.

I am very pleased to be able to start treating again TOMORROW. There is one appointment time left otherwise several options for Thursday. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

It looks like we have to wait just a little longer to restart massage treatments. November 1st is the current estimated date to restart, but we are hopeful it may be a little sooner, depending when government restrictions are eased. Stay safe everyone and l will see you very soon.

We are still working through the finer details but this seems very probable that we will be able to begin treating again. I will keep you updated.

We'll keep you updated as we chat to our therapists and find the best way to slot them in and still maintain COVID safety standards within our clinics.

Our single clinic sites will remain in an effort to keep our people and you and your families safe for the foreseeable future.

We will also be making a decision about whether one-on-one hydrotherapy is viable at this stage.

Due to the current Covid pandemic l am unable to treat for the next 6 weeks. I will hopefully be returning on Tuesday 22nd of September.

In line with today's changes we are awaiting clarification and staff availability before we make any decisions regarding our services.

Nothing changes until midnight on Wednesday so appointments for tomorrow and Wednesday are fine, and you ARE ALLOWED to travel for care.

❗ COVID-19 UPDATE ❗

At Hills we currently work on a model that means we have therapists seeing patients at several different clinics per week. As of Monday we'll be moving to a "Single Practice Team" model until we have this pandemic under control in Victoria.

Imagine: one positive case in this scenario. It would shut down all 3 clinics for 2 weeks at minimum, the sheer volume of contact tracing would be overwhelming, and most importantly expose our dear patients and staff (and their families) to COVID-19, and illness.

This decision might not be popular, but it's the right one. We thank you endlessly for your continued support. Please know that every hard decision we make is with your safety and the safety of our staff in mind.

As Victoria increases efforts to reduce the spread of COVID19 with some worrying escalation in case numbers, Hills Physiotherapy are continuing to operate, with some changes.

Wearing masks will save lives, it's that simple. If both you and your therapist wear a mask during your appointment, the risk of infection drastically reduces. If you don't have one, they'll be available for purchase from reception.

Let's get these numbers back down so we can get back to normal.
