Skin Checks for 2025! 🗓️

We are thrilled to welcome back The Skin Cancer Doctor to Nova Body Clinic for their final Emerald visit this year!

They fly in from Brisbane this Monday, 24th November, and will be at our clinic before heading out to other rural towns. They return for their last day of appointments on Thursday, 27th November. There is a handful of appointments left.

This is your last chance to get a professional skin check before 2026! Their next visit is planned for mid-January.

This is an extract from their website: "In each location, we set up a temporary clinic at a medical facility or other suitable venues. We bring our own equipment and use several tools and techniques to examine a patient’s skin thoroughly.

Patients do not need a referral to come to our clinics. They can book directly via our website or by calling 1300 754 637. During the 15-minute consultation, the doctor performs a full-body examination for suspicious lesions. If they find anything suspicious, they may treat it or perform a biopsy at the time, later in the day or the following day. We provide all patients who are treated surgically with a post-operative information sheet.

Our team takes the pathology back to Brisbane or Sydney for analysis. Once the results are in, we send a letter to the patient and their regular doctor. As a travelling service, we may refer simple and time-sensitive lesions to the local doctor for excision."
