A Heartfelt Goodbye

Dear Families,

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news of closing down my paediatric occupational therapy clinic.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible children and their families, witnessing their growth, resilience, and achievements firsthand. Your trust in me to support your children has been an honor beyond words, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of your journey.

Every child I’ve worked with has taught me something invaluable—the importance of patience, the power of creativity, or the joy of celebrating small victories. These experiences have shaped me as a therapist and enriched me as a person. The lessons I’ve learned from your children will stay with me forever, guiding me in every step I take moving forward.

As I transition into my next role as an Allied Health Engagement Lead, I carry the wisdom and compassion gained from working alongside you. This new chapter will allow me to support allied health professionals in making meaningful connections and delivering impactful care—something I am deeply passionate about.

While saying goodbye to this clinic is bittersweet, I am excited for what lies ahead and hopeful that my work will continue to make a difference in another capacity. Thank you for trusting me with your children’s care and allowing me to be part of your lives.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s a heartfelt thank you for everything. Wishing you all continued growth, happiness, and success on your journeys ahead! 💙

P.S. I will still be available to contact till 30 April 2025 on ash@promoteot.com.au. Then, official emails will be deactivated.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day!! There is a lot more awareness about Autism in the last decade. Although on this day we should listen more to the Autistic community about their goals and aspirations. We need to create awareness of treatment options preferred by the Autistic community.
