Livingstone Shire Council is seeking people with lived experience of disability to join Accessibility Capricornia.

As a member of this group, you will;
- Help Council understand barriers and strengths for community participation
- Work with Council on enhancing spaces
- Help improve our places and spaces to be more inclusive and accessible

6 meetings throughout the year, each meeting runs for approx. 2 hours and are located in Yeppoon.

Our local Keppel Dive & Water Sport's new Accessible Boat made it in the 'Travel Without Limits' publications.
Thank you to the Carl and the crew who have dove into inclusive tourism through the construction of such a valuable local asset- the boat is amazing!

Accessibility Awareness Tour
You will have an opportunity to briefly experience barriers by using a wheelchair, vision impairment glasses, noise cancelling headphones etc to mimic disability challenges while navigating the tour to broaden our understanding and value around inclusive communities.
Tour organised by Livingstone Shire Council & Accessibility Capricornia.
