This Anzac Day, we come together to mark the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing—one of our nation's most significant occasions. It is a day that holds deep meaning for many of our residents and their families as we reflect, remember, and honour the courage and sacrifice of our service men and women.

Their legacy lives on in the stories we share, the respect we show, and the gratitude we hold.

On behalf of all the staff and residents at Bartonvale Village we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Bartonvale Village has enjoyed some fantastic Christmas events. The Christmas meal and concert was a well-attended event, with a visit from Santa and his helpers (Elves and a Gingerbread man). The kitchen provided a wonderful full Christmas meal with a Christmas pudding for dessert.
Last Friday we were thrilled to welcome an Enfield local choir to lead us in a Christmas Carol concert. It was wonderful to listen and hear the joy, to everyone singing along to traditional Christmas carols.

This Remembrance Day, we reflect and pay tribute to the men and women who have given their lives or suffered for Australia's cause in wars and armed conflicts. At RetireAustralia, we honour the many residents and team members who served or who have relatives that served and for their bravery and dedication.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we pause to remember. Their service will not be forgotten.

Bartonvale Village is getting ready for Melbourne Cup next week.
We had a wonderful time this morning creating some fantastic headwear in preparation for the big day. There was lots of glitter and giggles, with some fantastic creations.
We will be having a best dressed competition on Melbourne Cup Day - it's going to be a tricky decision to choose a winner

Earlier this month Bartonvale Village was very privileged to host a concert by Bill Benham (concert violinist) and Dr Raymond Booth (organist) to celebrate the 80th birthday of Bill's lovely sister and resident at Bartonvale Village, Susan. The music was an absolute joy to listen to, with renditions of Debussy's Girl with Flaxen Hair, Elgar's Chanson de Matin and Aussie favourites Waltzing Matilda and Danny Boy. A wonderful afternoon was had by all!!

Bartonvale Village had a fantastic evening celebrating a 1924 themed evening. Lots of people enjoyed a night of great food, lively entertainment and dancing into the night. A good time was had by all.

Today we acknowledge the incredible men who have made a lasting impact on our lives: the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who inspire and support us. Thank you for being pillars of strength and love.

The Social Committee at the Village organised the Melodyairs to perform today, serenading the residents. Followed by afternoon tea. What a wonderful afternoon.
