Therapy Supports cost less than 10% of the NDIS budget. Amazingly, the Federal Government has decided to cut costs by reducing the fees of highly qualified Physiotherapists. The fees have been frozen for 5 years and now lag behind market rates, meaning most practices are struggling financially to support NDIS clients. Dropping the rate by $10/hour is an absolute slap in the face when there is so much waste and mismanagement elsewhere in the NDIS.

The Australian Physiotherapy Association is calling on the federal government to reverse the reduction in National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing limits for physiotherapy and travel funding that threaten the sustainability of physiotherapy services and the choice and control of NDIS participants.

From 1 July 2025, the revised NDIS pricing limits will make it financially unsustainable for many physiotherapists to deliver the high-quality, individualised care required to manage complex conditions for some of our most vulnerable people.

This comes on the back of a five-year NDIS pricing limits freeze that has not kept pace with inflation and the rising costs of providing therapy supports to people living with disability.

We’re looking for 3 High school aged guys looking to learn the fundamentals of lifting in the gym. The “beating heart” of Parkside celebrates 15 years with us today!
We’re so lucky to have Shelley with us as an integral part of our team. For 15 years she’s guided and lead our young admin team as well as provided us with lots of laughs and smiles. In the back office she provides the social glue that helps us all enjoy our time at work a little more every day.

Simple warmup and body weight strength protocols that can be done before and after training sessions are great tools to help keep your team on the park
There’s some good science showing real results in reducing major injuries like ACL tears, hamstring, groin and quad muscle injuries.
