Investing in yourself isnāt selfish
Itās a gift - not just for you, but for everyone around you.
I often hear clients say, and Iāve lived it too,
āOnce theyāre okay, then Iāll have time and energy to focus on myself. But right now, I need to make sure theyāre alright first.ā
But this belief can quietly lead to exhaustion, burnout, and sometimes resentment. Along with running on empty - mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Taking time to rest, heal, and reconnect with yourself, means that everyone benefits.
This isnāt about putting others last.
Itās about not abandoning yourself in the process.
There are so many gentle, beautiful ways this can unfold:
š±A people-pleaser learns to say ānoā without guilt - and feels safe in their body.
š±A rested mother has the patience to laugh with her children again.
š±An anxious worker enjoys peaceful mornings.
š±A partner who used to shut down in conflict starts speaking from the heart.
š±Someone who use to escape, begins to feel again, slowly and safely.
š±A chronic overgiver is open to receiving.
Healing isn't about perfection.
It's about returning to self - one choice at a time.
By prioritising your own health and wellbeing, you show others it's possible.
Without lecturing or forcing. You live and embody it.
Those around you start to feel your peace. And take note of the subtle changes.
This is how beliefs are rewrittenānot through words, but through safety, feeling and witnessing.
So start that āthingā.
Book the session.
Try a different way.
Even if it feels clunky or uncertain at the start.
Begin gently. Even small steps create long-lasting ripples. š
