Coffin or casket?
You might be wondering if there is even a difference?

Whilst the two terms are often used interchangeably, there's actually a difference in shape, materials and pricing.

Coffins are classically shaped wider at the shoulders and tapered towards the feet. Caskets are rectangular with a hinged lid and generally more plush interior.

Here's a funeral etiquitte tip for you:

Seating
* WHEN: Take your seat before the family arrives.
* WHERE: The first few rows of a church or funeral home are reserved for family and close friends. If you are close to the family of the deceased then it’s important to occupy those seats as a sign of support. If you don’t fall into that category, try to sit in the middle or towards the back of the church.
* HOW: When you talk between yourselves, do so quietly and respectfully.

In case no one's told you, you don't need to feel embarassed about feeling lonely.

An estimated 6 million Australians, or 1 in 3 people, are experiencing loneliness right now. Maybe you're one of them.

In our line of business we see many people struggling with new-found lonliness. Many struggle with feelings of being disconnected, and up to half of those affected feel too embarrassed to talk about it due to the stigma.

This is not OK. Persistent loneliness can lead to serious health issues, including heart problems and mental health challenges.
