🎉 Celebrating Father’s Day at Oxa Care! 🍻
What a fantastic day it was! Our wonderful fathers were treated to a special celebration filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We kicked off the day with a delicious BBQ lunch, lovingly prepared with help from our residents, who enjoyed cooking, socialising, and sipping on their favourite beer, wine, or soft drink. The afternoon was packed with entertainment, dancing, and music, with both residents and staff joining in on the fun!
The facility was beautifully decorated with Father’s Day posters, and every dad received a thoughtful gift. There’s been so much chatter about the day, no one can stop talking about it!

🌼 Daffodil Day Celebrations at Oxa Care! 🌼
We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating Daffodil Day, a special event held each year to support the Cancer Council and raise awareness for those affected by cancer. 💛
Our residents and staff got into the spirit by dressing up in bright yellow, and our home was beautifully decorated to match! From daffodil, themed treats to live entertainment, the atmosphere was full of warmth, laughter, and support. 🎶🍰
We’re proud to have raised money for this important cause, every dollar helps fund life, saving cancer research, prevention, and support services. 🌼
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined in, donated, and helped make the day so memorable. 💛

Celebrating Indian Independence Day!
What a fantastic afternoon filled with vibrant colours, laughter, delicious Indian food, and incredible performances by our talented staff! 🌸✨
The room was beautifully decorated with Indian flags and cultural displays to showcase the rich heritage and spirit of India. 🎊
A big thank you to our amazing team for bringing the celebration to life. Our residents truly enjoyed the festivities and appreciated the opportunity to experience such a joyful and cultural afternoon.

🌸 A Beautiful Afternoon at Oxa Care 🌸
What a lovely afternoon it was for the ladies at Oxa Care! 💅✨
They were truly pampered, from nail painting to soothing hand massages, it was all about relaxation and self-care. The room was filled with the calming scent of fresh lavender and aromatherapy oils, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. 🌿💜
It was a full sensory experience, the gentle touch of massage oils, the scent of lavender in the air, soft background music, and the comforting taste of warm tea and coffee. Every detail was designed to soothe, calm, and uplift. ☕🎶🌸
The ladies enjoyed sharing stories, laughter, and connection, a heartwarming reminder of the power of community and conversation. 🥰

🎄✨ What a fantastic day at the Morning Melodies, Roxburgh Park Hotel, celebrating Christmas in July! 🎶💃
Our residents had an absolute blast singing, dancing, and socialising the day away. The festive spirit was alive with lots of laughter, delicious food, and of course, the excitement of cracking bonbons! 🎁🍽️
The event brought back fond memories and gave residents the chance to reconnect with friends from the community, a truly heartwarming experience. ❤️

🎉 National Pajama Day at Oxa Care! 💤
What a fantastic afternoon we had celebrating National Pajama Day! 🎈
Our wonderful staff and residents joined in the fun, all dressed up in their coziest and most colourful pyjamas. 🧸✨ We shared laughs, stories, and even had a fun discussion about everyone’s favorite styles and fabrics of PJs!
The day was filled with joy, dancing, singing, and plenty of delicious food and drinks. 🎶🍰 Everyone truly enjoyed the entertainment, and the energy was contagious.

A Fantastic Day Out for Our Residents! 🌞🍝

Our residents had a wonderful time during their lunch outing to the Ca’ De Abruzzo Club! They thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals, lively conversation, and the warm company of friends, both old and new.

It was heartwarming to see so many smiles and hear the laughter as they socialised and reconnected with familiar faces. Moments like these remind us how special community and companionship truly are. 💛

🤠 Another Successful Men's Group Afternoon at Oxa Care! 🎯🎶
Our Lifestyle Staff and amazing Volunteers dressed to impress for a fun-filled Country & Western themed event, and the Residents joined in the fun by dressing up too! 🤎👢
The afternoon was full of laughter, memories, and plenty of country charm. Residents enjoyed classic activities like: Horseshoe toss 🐴, Sandbag toss 🎯, Target shooting 🎯
A huge thank you to Oriana for creating the fantastic "Jail Window" photo prop, residents had an absolute blast posing for photos! 📸
With country tunes playing in the background, the atmosphere was full of joy and nostalgia. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a memorable day! 🧡

🌟 Annual Staff Appreciation Day 🌟
Our Annual Staff Appreciation Day was a huge success! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special.
Staff and residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea, along with wonderful entertainment by Lino and his wife. It was truly a joyous celebration of the amazing work our team does every day.
Executive Director of Nursing, Talya Goldsmith, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the management, thanking all staff for their continued hard work and dedication.
We were also honoured to hear from Michael Butler and Verna Stubberfield, who shared heartfelt words of thanks for the exceptional care they received, calling their move to Oxa Care “the best thing that ever happened” to them.
As a token of appreciation, every staff member received a special gift from the Oxa family 💝
Thank you once again to our incredible team, you are the heart of Oxa Care! 💙

🎲👵👦 Tuesday Morning Fun with St Monica’s Students! 💅💖
Every Tuesday morning, we’re delighted to welcome the wonderful students from St Monica's College to Oxa Care!
Our residents and students come together in the Level 2 Lifestyle Room to enjoy a fun filled morning of table games, warm conversation, and connection. From card games to puzzles, there’s always something engaging and uplifting happening!
A special highlight is when the lovely Ms. Wendy Styring, one of the teachers, treats some of our residents to nail painting sessions, a relaxing and much, loved activity. 💅✨
This program has been a great success, offering a unique opportunity for both generations to share life experiences and build genuine connections.
The intergenerational benefits are truly inspiring, our residents enjoy the energy, stories, and laughter the students bring, while the students gain valuable insights and respect for older generations. These moments support emotional wellbeing, reduce loneliness, and foster a strong sense of community. 🤝💬
A heartfelt thank you to Wendy Styring for her ongoing support and dedication to this beautiful initiative, your kindness brings joy to many. 💐💛

Croatian National Day at Oxa Care
Today we celebrated Croatian National Day with delicious traditional food, beautiful decorations, and heartwarming entertainment! ❤️
Our amazing chefs cooked a Croatian, style lunch, and Kaylah had everyone singing along with her lively performance 🎶
One of our Croatian residents shared a special piece of their culture by playing traditional music, bringing joy and even a few happy tears 🥹🎻
The dining room was filled with pride, laughter, and the spirit of Croatia ✨

Our Level 2 residents had a fantastic day out enjoying Morning Melodies at Highlands Craigieburn! 💃🕺

There was plenty of singing, dancing, and a delicious variety of food to enjoy. It was heartwarming to see families join in the fun and share in the laughter and joy.
