We honour the extraordinary courage and quick action of Ahmed al Ahmed, who bravely disarmed one of the attackers, as well as the lifeguards, first responders, and healthcare teams who acted under confronting circumstances to protect lives. We recognise the emotional toll this event has on families, communities, and those on the front line.
 
Violence of this nature affects far beyond those directly involved. As a healthcare organisation, we stand firmly against all forms of hatred and discrimination. Compassion, safety, and respect for every person remain at the heart of our work.
