PODCAST: "Let’s Unpack Resilience: Parenting an Anxious, Disengaging Child With Confidence and Hope with Dr Lyn Worsley and Dr Jenny Brown"

Dr Lyn Worsley was recently interviewed by her fellow colleague Dr Jenny Brown on 'The Parent Hope Project Podcast' about anxiety in teenage-hood and parenting.

In this episode, Lyn helps us unpack exactly what resilience is—beyond the clichés—and why it matters so profoundly for anxious young people —and their parents.

She shares how parents can actively cultivate resilience-building family environments where strengths are noticed, challenges are navigated step by step, and confidence grows over time.

It is a practical, compassionate conversation for any parent navigating the complex intersection of anxiety, resilience, and school disengagement.

A must listen for parents and thank you Jenny for having Lyn on your podcast:

Following the address from our Prime Minister Anthony Albanese tonight, we are being encouraged to 'do our bit' and to be smart with our fuel by catching public transport, so we can save petrol for those who need it a lot more essentially.

So when we think about , we see that this is also an opportunity for Australians. This is a time to connect with others in the community and a chance for us to work better, as a city, community and country - 'together'.

What may it feel like to be a communal Sydney city? This is different to our experience ofCovid. During Covid times, we were being asked to isolate from each other. Now, this is just the opposite. Instead, we are being asked to come together.
