The power of release

I know many of our general society may still not get it.

They may think it's all 'woo woo' - said in a mockery manner.

However releasing emotions and energy is vital for us to find infinite possibilities and propel ourselves forwards.

It's the difference between coasting through life thinking you are hard done by, to acknowledging your limiting beliefs, patterns and social condition so you can move through it and break cycles.

There are many modalities, all as powerful as each other, some resonate with one, others use a combination.

One thing true for all, is integration is always key. Without taking action, nothing changes.

Action can be as simple as connecting with nature, or being mindful to change patterns, or as dramatic as quiting jobs or chopping your hair off.

The thing with energy though, is it's not just within us! It's in everything. This means our belongings hold energy too, some powerful enhancing our energy, some stagnant energy.

And stagnant energy often holds us back. We may not realise it, but sometimes it's your belongings holding you back not your being.

Spring cleans became a thing for a reason!
How do you feel after a big declutter and cull? Think about it. Take action. Clear space for freedom and growth.

One thing that had held me back from doing this is seeing the monetary value, and feeling I should be on selling items. But this merely sabotages my opportunity for growth, and so what comes around goes around, you're better off donating than procrastinating! Take it from a queen hoarder and procrastinator.

What will you get rid off this week? And what will that make room for?

*pic of me taking integration to a new level (for me, as hair is a massive thing for me, esp after witnessing mum lose hers with chemo), with Koa in the background cheering me on ♡

Who here thinks going cashless is a good idea?
Who here thinks 'well I only use my credit card now anyway so what's it matter?'
Who here thinks the cashless idea is because all small businesses do ‘cashies’ and avoid tax?

Seriously???

So, as always, DO.YOUR.HOMEWORK!

If there is no cash, your $1 loses even more value, it will eventually be worth less and less, as the banks implement more and more fees to keep our money 'safe', and to even let us use our money.

It's not just about small businesses. It's about everyone.

That aside, it also encourages the whole score credit system. I know Australia uses credit scores, but this is different. It becomes a massive big deal, and promotes even less privacy and freedom than we already have.

It's upsetting that big banks like CBA are on board with this, who are they to dictate what happens.

Those against the elimination of cash, I highly recommend looking for banks opposed to this, and remember to use your cash.

The other aspect, has anyone used cash recently? I have, and you know what stands out most to me about using cash? The fact that our younger generations freak the f**k out when you give them cash and change is required! They aren't used to it. They have lost the ability to do basic math on the fly, they are like deer in headlights. Using cash, gave our generation incidental education when working as a checkout chick/dude.

There are just so many positives to cash.
From small incidental learnings, to large issues around our identity and privacy.

Keep cash alive.

Otherwise no one's ever gonna find sneaky notes in their grandparents mattresses, or that sneaky fifty you hid in your jack for emergencies on a night out - or was that just me??

Rant incoming....

I'm happy to contribute to society. In fact, I believe it's necessary. I know I need to pay taxes to help build infrastructure. I'm okay with that.

What I'm not okay with, is a society where people in power are not held accountable. Where their short falls became the issues for the everyday person.

Two prime examples. And this is just my POV. Take it or leave it.

I'm not rich, but I'm not poor. I for the most part live comfortably, but this past few years, like everyone, has seen me be even more aware of expenses.
I understand things inflate, it is what it is.

However when a government body screws up WHY should we, the general public be liable for the incompetence of those in power?

Example one: The Central Coast Council, clearly f**ked up, misused the funds, went into administration, so who coped the downfall?? The rate payers of the Central Coast, not those in power, not the department they report to, US!

Example two: Victoria Government, a government who left a state im lockdown for what felt like eternity, who dished out money to attempt to help those they had screwed over, and who pays for this, the general public again.

How is this fear? What does this teach the younger generations?

I honestly have no resolution to the situation, like I said, rant in coming.
But it’s days like that make me understand even more so why people want a to start a new system - it’s just not that easy.

I guess, the best we can do, is teach our children better, and hope over generations this bu****it and aaaalll the bu****it (because this one is minor compared to the other crap they get away with) gets cleaned out.

I see this a lot.

What’s worse is one bank account, being gst registered and no accounting software!

At minimum, you need a personal account and a business account.

As you reach towards that $75k income threshold, meaning you need to start paying gst once you hit $75k, it’s not as simple as paying gst on all sales, and claiming gst on all expenses.

There are laws around ABNs, GST, what you can and can’t claim tax on.
There are thresholds to working out your income tax also.

If you only have one account, you are setting yourself up for the below potential issues and more:
Paying more tax than you need
Not paying enough tax and being penalised for this financially
Running a business that isn’t actually profitable
High accounting fees due to all the additional work in deciphering what to lodge

At minimum, get yourself two separate accounts.
If you want to lay solid foundations and avoid the above issues, reach out, I run my Holistic Money for Small Businesses 4wk program as a Day Retreat that can be booked on a date of your choosing! We go through all of this and MORE! What are you waiting for?

Ok so I don't mean to sound rude, but if I see another money coach preaching affirmations to hit a million dollars I will vomit.

Mindset and affirmations are important, BUT unless you have the practical knowledge and skills too, they don’t get you out of scarcity.

What it means is you learn to understand and believe you are deserving and are worthy of abundance, you're open to fully receiving - that's fantastic! I get this, hence why I offer Wealth Clears, because we need to align all our five bodies.

BUT what I have witnessed is entrepreneurs throwing thousands, I means thoooousands of dollars at money coaches, they've bought all the books, they’ve listened to the webinars and podcasts, they are doing what feels like all the things... but they are wondering why the f**k they are still stressing, still lacking funds to feel secure, what is going on?

I had a gorgeous new bookkeeping client ask me for resources the other day, what books, podcasts, etc could I recommend to her so she can stop stressing about money...

My answer?

That's not my thing. I'm not referring books etc, because what's needed is the practical. There is no magical fix. There is no one book, no one podcast or webinar to magically bring you an abundance of wealth to stop living in scarcity.

It's a combination of learning the knowledge, skills and doing the inner work - THAT is why I do what I do. I combine the practical with the spiritual.

I have witnessed entrepreneurs make millions, and they have nothing to show for it because of bad advice and not having the knowledge. So knowing how to make the $$ isn't the end game.

Learning how to believe in yourself, how to make money, and how to manage your money is the end game!

I am not here to get you to 6,7 or 8 figures, I don’t do sales training. What I do is guide you to clear your limiting beliefs, to get out of your own way, as well as either getting your money organising on point or mentoring and educating you how to get it on point, and keeping you accountable. Simple. There is no magical affirmation to solve this.

How much is too much? When are we being judgemental?

I'm sure many of you would have seen this reel going around a few weeks back of the Woolworths CFO Brad Banducci under Senate enquiry.

For those who aren't aware Woolies made a net profit of approx $1.72 billion dollars the last financial year, their profits have been increasing since 2016.

I'm sure we aren't surprised given how much our shopping needs have financially increased.

And whilst I understand inflation happens, how much is too much?

I've always said I don't judge people's desires and wants. If you want to earn millions of dollars, good for you, if you want to make enough to live and no more - good for you.

However, when I heard that Woolies CFO earned approx $8.4m in one year, I instantly judged him. What the actual f**k. Who needs that much money. I was gobsmacked.

But it also made me reevaluate my previous statement. I was judging his wants and desires. If he wants to earn that, why should I judge? Who am I to question him?

Then I realised there is a big component missing from my statement. I have no judgment when it's an entrepreneur who isn't ripping off the general public. When it's not causing the general public distress and financial hardship.

Woolies CFO is causing the general public financial hardship. I'm not saying don't earn a high wage, don't make profit. BUT when it's at the detriment of the everyday person, and the stress caused to them potentially means they are struggling to feed their family - I wholeheartedly disagree with the way they are making their living and profit.

Those who earn a good wage, and make profit, that are having a positive impact on their customers, I can get behind. Even if a potential customer wants the service and says it's too expensive, I have no issues with this, because something will likely always be too expensive for someone - it's all relative. But the key is, that those engaging in the service can afford it and are gaining a positive experience.

Woolies CFO, is not providing a positive experience to anyone.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this? Do you feel his salary is justified, or not?

The relationship between you and money, you and your work, you and family, you and clients, extends to the relationship between you and me, me and my work, me and my family.

It’s not just about the numbers and I could never work with someone who just wanted to pay me to organise their books with no care for the relationships involved.

I mentioned this in my Holistic Money for Small Businesses program recently when talking about sales and pricing, and so many of us disliked when potential clients reach out, without any intro, without any niceties and just want to know a rate.

We realised we aren’t here for that. We are here to build relationships, because we care about our clients, we genuinely care about them and their family.

In my case, me, The Heart Centred Bookkeeper & Energy Clearer will KNOW your business, will KNOW your desires, and will help you get there.

I’ve had quite a few reach out for pricing only of late, and I request a discovery call first, because even if you’re happy with my rates, that doesn’t mean I’m happy to do the work for you. Even in my employed life, I knew the business inside and out, and I knew the directors and their families, because I cared. This is my nature, I’m a nurture.

So, yes I want to be paid, I want money to be able to bring my desired life to fruition - however I’m not here to take money for the sake of it, there needs to be joy and love behind it.

Dying from car air freshener

A morning of swimming, and then an hour boat ride to the mainland. We are greeted by a fjian indian who sounds and acts just like my Kaka, that uncle that's not actually an uncle.

He's here to pick us up and take us to our next hotel, our next Fiji experience. We hop in the car, nothing flash, but there is aircon - thank god!

We set off and I can smell the hanging tags of air freshener, and just assume I will get used to them, after all it's an hour's drive to our destination.

Koa is wide awake and there are a million 'mum, mum, mum, mum's' happening, despite me saying yes to each one of them, he is on a roll and no give in sight, love the little guy but mama's starting to feel sick!

The air freshener! I've spotted 3 hanging there, clearly new, which makes me wonder what smell is he actually trying to hide. Eeek.
The smell is intense and keeps growing. I'm feel so ill now, and swear my eyes are burning too.
Of course, my window doesn't open, and I'm too polite to ask him to hide his air freshener in his glovebox for the rest of the trip.

This then makes me ask myself, why the f**k am I putting my physical symptoms, my health, over potentially insulting his taste in air freshener?

It all comes from being bought up in the 80s or earlier, where when you went to someone's house for dinner you ate what you got given, no matter what, and you were never to ask for anything - even if dying from thirst. My generation, esp the one prior, were bought up to obey, not to question, to suck it up and put ourselves through pain and discomfort, in fear of potentially upsetting someone.

It's such a western thing too. When I think of visiting dads' family/friends on the fijian/indian side, it was about what's yours is mine, kids could say no, we were encouraged to try everything but if we didn't, it wasn't an insult. They would come into our home and treat it as their home (probs more than mum would have liked lol).

It really made me think how I present myself; I'd want to know if my guests were uncomfortable so I could help rectify the situation if I was happy to, I'd be mortified if they sat in discomfort out of fear I'd get upset at their request.

Times have changed, and they need to continue to change. Letting our needs be known, shouldn’t be a bad thing, it shouldn’t be taken personally by the receiver, and we shouldn’t need to stay in discomfort or pain because of a generation of people pleasers and outdated definitions of what respect and honour mean.

I'm curious to know, what hold habits and traits keep you in discomfort rather than speaking up?

Reintroduction time!

So I'm Amela, The Heart Centred Bookkeeper and Energy Clearer

I dance between two worlds:

🌏 Our structured regulated world where it's my duty to know the ins and outs of getting your books ready for ATO obligations, a world where structure and systems serve a very real purpose, a world where action is key and knowledge is power.

🌌 The spiritual world where we find more flow, honour our intuition, believe in magic and ritual. A place where we trust the universe will provide, and understand that we must clear and release our limitations, our emotions and energies. A place where the unseen is believed.

I'm an ex Finance Controller who resigned, and gave up what felt like the only available financial security, because I believed there was more.

I was told I had to pick one world to live in, and I refused. It took a bit to truly back myself, my knowing, and my believes, but with new found community, and clients who 'get it', the two worlds merged into a beautiful communion.

I am all things, at any given moment depending on what is required, from mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend, entrepreneur, client, cleaner, cook, chauffeur, space holder, naturer, all the things and more.

I love my world, I love my family and friends, and I love being The Heart Centred Bookkeeper and Energy Clearer.

I am here to help change the world through helping you get you money s**t sorted, so you can do your piece in peace, witnessing the good ripple into the universe, making it a better place one step at a time.

No matter the offering, there is always the same mission - bringing my clients to a place of calm, confidence, empowerment, allowing them to embrace structure and flow. Allowing them to have a plan and goal, but surrendering to the universe.

There is no one thing that makes it all happen.
There are multiple facets to building your desired life, and money is a big part of this.

Knowing how to manage money, will only get you so far if you haven't faced the generational and societal limitation subconscious placed on us. And vice versa, clearing and release our generational and societal limitations, will only get us so far if we don't know how to manage our money.

This is why it's crucial to tend to both aspects, as well as self-care practices, rituals, study and so on.

This is why I exists, a bridge between two worlds to arm you with the tools to succeed and find balance between the worlds.
