We are pleased to announce our partnership with Aspire Physiotherapy Erina as our preferred physiotherapy & exercise physiology provider for 2026.

Aspire Physiotherapy Centre was founded by Dr Andrew Nealon, who brings many years of experience working at the top professional levels of football with Liverpool FC in the Premier League and Central Coast Mariners FC in the A-League. Aspire is a team of 10 highly skilled therapists within a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, centrally located in Erina. With over 100 years of combined clinical experience, the team is committed to delivering rapid and lasting results through a caring and thorough approach guided by the latest research. It's been a busy off season here. We have teamed up with 4 more football clubs with 2026 Physio Partnerships and now have 8 clubs who have entrusted us across football & AFL.
Every weekend we will have at least 11 of our physio and physio student crew providing match day coverage on the side lines, doing what we do best - keeping players on the park, sometimes picking up the pieces and ensuring that players get what they need to get back to their best.

Winter sport season is approaching fast. So it was time for our induction training of our physio student sports trainers for 2026. Every weekend we will have 11 of our physios and student sports trainers covering various football & AFL match days. This provides a great service for the Clubs we look after, and great experience for our people. Kick off will be here in no time. "Cricket Sports Medicine", the first text book specifically dedicated to the management of injuries in cricket and written by authors from around the world, has now been published.
It's a proud moment to share that I wrote the chapter on "side strain injury". This labour of love was the culmination of a decade of research as a hobby alongside family & growing Aspire, which finished up in 2019 as my PhD. Although some of that work has been published in research articles, nobody reads a PhD (who would want to?!).
This book can be accessed by uni students and purchased by practitioners interested in cricket injuries all over the world. The reason researchers do their work is for it to be shared and to help others. Knowledge not worth sharing is not worth knowing, and this book is a great way to share it.

🙌 Grateful for Great Mentors

It was awesome catching up last weekend with my good friend and mentor Andrew Nealon.

I had the privilege of working under Andrew during my time with the Central Coast Mariners, and no physio has had a bigger impact on my skills, knowledge, and professional growth than he did.

Andrew’s mentorship shaped the way I think, treat, and lead — and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunities and wisdom he shared.

It was great to reconnect at the course this weekend, swap ideas, and reflect on how much those early lessons still guide the way I practice today.

Here’s to the mentors who raise the bar and keep inspiring the next generation of physios. 🙏
