Today, Angus and Liam are at the Podiatry Professional Development Conference in Terrigal to speak to the Podiatric community about the work we are doing at Coastal Orthotics and Pedorthics. It is a great opportunity to chat to local Podiatrists on how we can help with custom shoes, shoe modifications and custom orthotics for their patients.

On Friday, we donated blood in support of one of our amazing patients, Scott and his courageous daughter Sienna. 6 months ago Sienna was diagnosed with Leukemia and has been at Westmead since then. During the fight of her life, she has required donated blood, just as 1 in 3 Australians will in their lifetime. Yet only 3% of Australians donate.

To raise awareness of the importance of donating blood, Scott will be walking from his hometown of Inverell to Terrigal. He is not requesting monetary donations but would love the community to get behind him by donating blood, if you are fit and able. Erina Podiatry have been proud sponsors of the Terrigal Trojans Rugby Union Club for many years and it has become an annual tradition for our co-founder, Gary to feed the team after training with one of his famous ‘stews’. This year it was a massaman curry and it was hailed as his best yet. It surely helped fuel the team for their incredible win at the weekend. Thank you Gary!
