Conveniently Active Exercise Physiology - Central Coast, NSW Conveniently Active provides exercise physiology services on the Central Coast. We have three clinics on the Central Coast: Wyoming, Erina and Umina.

We specialise in providing exercise prescription & education for people with chronic health conditions, seniors, paediatrics, women's health & disability. Our team of Exercise Physiologists have done 4-6 years of study at University to learn about how Exercise can be used to manage and improve various chronic health and lifestyle conditions. In addition, we undertake ongoing professional developm

ent to ensure that we are up to date with current research - this ensures that we provide the most appropriate exercise to our clients according to their particular health situation and goals. Whilst yes, we are all about attaining results, we also treat every person with kindness, empathy warmth and understanding. We ensure a non-intimidating environment to ensure each person feels comfortable when engaging in exercise. We Also provide Home Visit services for those with mobility issues.

Have you met Katie?!

If you're a regular attendee at Conveniently Active, you may have first met Katie behind the desk at reception! Katie has been one of our amazing receptionists at Conveniently Active.

BUT, being a queen of multi-tasking, Katie was a busy bee also undertaking her university degree, and she has now completed her masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology!

During her university degree, Katie also conducted part of her work placement with us, where she continued to learn the ropes from the other side of the desk!

Katie has a keen interest in providing exercise prescriptions and education for:

"My name is Katie, and I recently graduated with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at ACU. I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body functions, and I’m passionate about helping people reach their goals through movement and exercise that's tailored to them.Β  Β 

My primary areas of interest include neurological conditions, paediatrics, andΒ  rehabilitation. I love seeing how movement and exercise can build confidence, support independence, and have a positive impact on mental wellbeing.Β Β 

In my spare time, you'll either catch me on the soccer field for my local soccer club, out for a run or at a pilates class! I also enjoy going to my local cafe for a coffee and an almond croissant!"

A gentle reminder: Exercise is important for ALL ages and stages of life.

Exercising in our senior years is important to improve our:

And in turn, all of these things help us to keep doing the things that we love doing!

In saying that, not every program is suitable for everyone. Often, modifications and changes are needed, especially when living with chronic health conditions, persistent pain, or mobility restrictions.

For safe and effective exercise programs, we recommend seeing an exercise physiologist! If you're on the Central Coast, we'd love to help you! We are based in Erina but also offer mobile home visits and hydrotherapy.

We recently partnered with DOVIDA Central Coast, where we conducted a "Move Well, Live Well" exercise and wellness education program to their DOVIDA participants.

DOVIDA is an aged care provider on the Central Coast who are dedicated to improving the health, mobility, and overall well-being of their clients.

The Move Well, Live Well program was an 8 week group program, which consisted of:

πŸ’ͺ an exercise class each week
πŸ’ͺ a different education topic each week
πŸ’ͺ a yummy morning tea

Thank you to our guest speakers who offered their time and expertise to talk about areas that they specialise in! We are so completely grateful πŸ™

We are thinking about offering exercise physiology services bright and early around 6.30am/7am one day a week.

Jess is our Lymphoedema therapist who can help with lymphatic drainage, scar tissue massage, exercise, and garment prescription.

Jess can see you at our Erina clinic (1/20 Karalta Road, Erina) OR she can come to you. In addition to in clinic treatments, Jess also offers home visit treatments across the entire Central Coast. This is incredibly valuable to those who need assistance but have mobility restrictions.

Sophia talked about all things PELVIC FLOOR. Our group attendees found Sophia's talk incredibly beneficial and informative.
