STROKE- know the signs & know yourself. Safer to call and be sure.

🚑 Face - your face may have dropped on one side, you may not be able to smile, or your mouth or eyelid may droop.

🚑 Arms - you may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of weakness or numbness in 1 arm.

🚑 Speech - your speech may be slurred or garbled, or you may not be able to talk at all.

🚑 Time - it's time to dial 000 immediately if you have any of these signs or symptoms.

easter eggs and mini eggs are significant choking hazards for kiddies.
Their size, shape, and hard texture make them dangerous because they are the perfect size to block a child’s airway, and very hard to dislodge with back blows, so the best option is larger, hollow eggs or break into smaller pieces and always supervise whilst eating.

We run a 2 hr hands on course that basically teaches you to save your own child’s life! Pretty important skills to know!

You think it would never happen, but as paramedics and nurses …. we know it happens….and what you do before the ambos arrive….. it really matters… it will be the difference!
Average response times can be 10 minutes..

GLENNING VALLEY CHILDCARE CENTRE- another year, another round of CPR. We love training you, we love the fun you guys have whilst learning together. So great to work on a plan within your centre just incase the worst was to happen.
