Linda Walker’s Story

Linda’s passion for health led her to becoming qualified as an exercise physiologist which helps her to prescribe EXERCISE AS MEDICINE and help others on their path to health.

Linda is a health professional who specialises in exercise, lifestyle, and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic disease and injury including obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, falling, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, arthritis and others. For these patients exercise is a type of natural treatment, which can be as effective as prescription drugs.

Linda understands the challenges of juggling life commitments. During your initial visit, she takes the time to understand your health needs, concerns, and health goals. She then develops an effective and safe, evidence based exercise plan which you are comfortable with and provides the ongoing support you need to continue with it. She also instructs yoga, pilates and runs balance and strength classes.
