Have you met Jamie yet? ✨
The newest member of our teaching team at Union Street Yoga 🤗
He’s been jumping in for covers over the past couple of weeks, and recently taken over the Monday evening 6pm vinyasa flow class.
We think he’s awesome 🤩 so we highly recommend you make it to one of his classes as soon as you can!
If you are keen to find out a little more about him, read on for his bio —
Jamie is a creative and passionate individual who discovered Yoga 4 years ago whilst living in Berlin, as an alternative to callisthenics and strength based workouts he was regularly doing at the time.
It quickly and positively influenced his day-to-day and he likes to consider Yoga a vessel to better understand our inner relationships such as strength and stillness, meditation and movement, intention and patience, mind and body.
Via Hatha and Vinyasa based flows, Jamie invites us to focus on two key elements: our breath, and our body’s mechanisms. He believes these components are essential in bringing alignment, breath harmony and movement together. Jamie’s flows are strong and engaging with both opportunities for more advanced poses as well as gentler variations of postures. Because of this, his classes are accessible for all.
He looks forward to seeing you on the mat soon 🙂
