The Provide CPR course would benefit anyone wanting to learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation. The course provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely perform CPR and manage an emergency situation in the community or workplace until relived by medical personnel.
This course is delivered as 3.5 hours in class and online learning to cover all knowledge and skills assessments.

PROVIDE FIRST AID – 1-Day Course (HLTAID011) - $180.00 per person
The Provide First Aid - 1 day course would benefit all those at work, home or for leisure. The course provides an excellent general grounding in first aid and will enable you to perform appropriate first aid procedures and basic life support skills. This unit satisfies training requirements across a range of community and workplace settings.
This course is delivered as 1 day in class and online learning to cover all knowledge and skills assessments

Monday 1st September or Wednesday 3rd September

HAS YOUR DEFIBRILLATOR BEEN SERVICED RECENTLY?

With only one in 10 people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, defibrillators are key to saving lives and need to be maintained to work correctly in an emergency situation.

HLTAID015 - PROVIDE ADVANCED RESUSCITATION AND OXYGEN THERAPY

WEDNESDAY 23rd JULY - Course Fee $185.00 per person

The course provides the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation. Training is conducted using the Oxy-Viva 3 Resuscitator or similar.

This course includes online learning and 1 day in class for practical training and assessment. Completion of online learning is required prior to arrival at the class.

IMPORTANT: It is a national requirement that prior to your attendance in this course you have completed and been issued with a Statement of Attainment for the pre-requisite unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.

Last night, Volunteering WA held it's annual awards night, celebrating volunteers and volunteer groups across WA.

We are very proud to announce one of our Esperance volunteers (even though we share him with regional subcentres around the state) has been honoured with the 2025 RAC WA Volunteer of the Year Award.

Huge congratulations to Brian Gallop ASM OStJ

Brian's contribution and commitment volunteering for St John WA is second to none and this award is so well deserved. Congratulations Brian!

The final award of the night is 2025 RAC WA Volunteer of the Year!

Presented by RAC WA, this award celebrates an individual who has made an exemplary voluntary contribution throughout 2024 and has demonstrated a profound commitment to improving the lives of others through their volunteering efforts.

There is no online learning or in-class assessments in this course.
