As we move from the stillness of Winter into the rising energy of Spring, the Wood element in Chinese Medicine comes alive. 🌱

Wood is about growth, vision, and movement. Just like trees reaching for the light, our bodies and minds also want to stretch, expand, and begin again.

In TCM, the Liver and Gallbladder belong to this element. They guide the smooth flow of Qi (energy) and emotions, support detoxification, and give us clarity and direction. When Wood is in balance, we feel flexible, motivated and clear. When it’s out of balance, we might feel stuck, irritable, or tense.
