What an awesome opportunity to speak to these lovely people on Saturday at Studio Pilates Essendon!

Navigating through the chaos of information of exercise recovery and injury prevention can be daunting and challenging particularly if you’re being held back due to injury or just don’t feel right after you move! This workshop worked through some challenges on what’s the most effective in exercise recovery techniques but also worked through challenges we face when preventing injury particularly in women of all stages of our lives.

⭐️Welcome to the Team Matthew ⭐️

Matthew will be working on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Move Wise Osteopathy!

Matthew graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). Matthew enjoys treating all different types of injuries and uses a wide variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s needs.
He has played soccer since he was little, at both amateur and semi-professional levels, and continues to do so. As a result, Matthew has developed a special interest in sporting injuries and involving the patient in the recovery process, through rehabilitation, exercise and other means. He understands the feeling of being injured and missing out in sport and life and likes to play an important role in getting you back to your best.
When Matthew is not at work, he will often be on the soccer field, watching soccer/movies and spending time with family and friends.

In my final year of exercise science at VU, one of our assessments was to study the biomechanics of a taekwondo snap kick. Together with my colleagues and we captured footage of her kick and analysed its torque and force using software! It was an incredible experience…and it’s given me invaluable experience and knowledge! 🥋👏
