Meet Hope ✨

A friendly face here at Bay Optical.

Hope has been with us for just over a year and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing. She’s loving stepping into the world of optics and is excited to keep learning and growing every day.

She especially loves being in the workshop, cutting and making glasses, and learning all that Ally has to teach her 🤓✨

Working alongside Simon and Ally, she feels lucky to be learning from the best and gaining hands-on experience in all things eyewear.

Our one and only optometrist here at Bay Optical!

With 26 years of experience, Simon has been caring for our community’s eyes since 2003, building lasting relationships with many loyal patients who have been seeing him for years.

Known for his kindness, expertise, and the genuine care he shows every patient, Simon is always so warmly spoken about. And if you’re in the practice, you’ll likely hear his infectious laugh coming from the test room 😊

We’re so lucky to have him at the heart of what we do.

Our incredible Practice Manager and the heart of Bay Optical 💙

With nearly 18 years here (and 40 years in the optical industry!), Ally is an expert in all things eyewear. She also works as our in-house optical mechanic, carefully cutting and making up all your glasses right here in practice.

Ally is not only highly skilled, but also a wonderful mentor, currently guiding Hope through her Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing 🤓✨

Her knowledge, care, and dedication are what make Bay Optical such a special place.
