Perusing a new treatment plan, my client in chronic depletion, notices a delicious card deck I was gifted.

With holistic health goals in Psychosocial Recovery, including things not so clinical, like ‘Self worth’, I suggest she pulls a card 💕

🥞🧈 Read the labels of non-dairy spreads and I guarantee you’ll be disappointed! Sometimes I shop with haste and ignorance, and later regret, as this takes very little effort.
Lately I’ve been making my own non-dairy spread at home using just equal parts olive oil and coconut oil 🫒🥥

It’s a simple alternative to many supermarket “olive oil” spreads, which often contain only a small amount of olive oil and are mostly made up of other refined vegetable oils.

Making it yourself means knowing exactly what’s in it – real oils, no fillers, no unnecessary extras. Simple, nourishing, and easy to do at home. ✨

🧈 This does need to be kept in the fridge and is perfect for spreading or roasting or even for your bulletproof coffee!

🚀 Rocket (arugula) may be small, but it packs a powerful punch 🌿

Peppery and fresh, rocket is rich in antioxidants, vitamin K for bone health, and folate to support energy and cell repair. Its natural nitrates help support healthy blood flow and heart health, while bitter compounds gently stimulate digestion and liver function.

Try it fresh in salads, tossed through warm meals, or blended into pesto for an easy nutrient boost.

👩🏻‍🌾 If you want to try garden to plate, even a small rocket patch will not disappoint.

Flower essences are a gentle yet powerful tool often used in naturopathic care to support emotional and energetic wellbeing 🌿

Rather than working on the physical body directly, flower essences are traditionally used to help balance emotional states, support resilience during times of stress, and encourage a sense of calm, clarity, and self-awareness. Many people turn to them during periods of change, overwhelm, grief, fatigue, or when they feel “out of sync.”

✨ Why flower essences are valued in naturopathy:
• Non-toxic and non-habit forming
• Safe to use alongside other natural therapies
• Can support emotional balance and nervous system regulation
• Individually selected to suit the person, not just the symptoms
• Gentle enough for all ages

In naturopathic practice, emotional wellbeing is recognised as a key part of overall health. Flower essences are often used as part of a holistic approach, alongside nutrition, lifestyle support, and other natural therapies, to help restore balance from the inside out.

Sometimes the smallest, subtlest remedies can create the most meaningful shifts 🌼
