Today, we honour the spirit of ANZAC and the courage and sacrifice it represents.

On Thursday 23rd April, GraniteHill residents came together for a heartfelt ANZAC service. Philip Munt, President from Euroa RSL led the service guiding residents through moments of remembrance and reflection. We paid our respects to all service personnel, and especially to the nurses who served with courage, compassion and care.

We were also pleased to welcome Anna Eddy, Principal of Euroa Secondary College, who attended alongside Vice Captains Jeremiah and Ethan. Their presence added a meaningful intergenerational connection, reminding us that the legacy of ANZAC continues to be carried forward by younger Australians.

Euroa Health staff were also present at this mornings dawn service in Euroa to present a wreath on behalf of all at Euroa Health.

EASTER AT GRANITEHILL
Our residents spent the day enjoying a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who brought plenty of smiles and photo moments. The walking garden came alive with an exciting Easter egg hunt, followed by friendly egg‑and‑spoon races that sparked lots of playful competition. Everyone gathered for a lively round of bingo, and of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without an abundance of delicious chocolate to share.

HARMONY DAY
Recently, Euroa Health celebrated Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Day — a time to recognise the many cultures, stories, and traditions that shape our community.
GraniteHill is enriched with people from all over the world. Staff were invited to wear traditional clothing or a splash of orange to honour the values of respect, inclusion, and meaningful connection.
A beautiful moment captured this week features Karishma, who was born in Nepal and has called Australia home for the past seven years, alongside resident Brian, originally from England and now an Australian local for more than five decades.
We’re proud to have a team made up of many cultures, languages and life experiences. This diversity strengthens our workplace and the care we provide every day.
