👩‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🏥We are seeking an experienced Registered or an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our Nursing Team on a fulltime, permanent part time or casual basis to work alongside our wonderful team of doctors and administration staff.
About the role:
The successful applicant will join a family friendly team in a dynamic environment and will be provided with opportunities for professional development. If you are applying for this role, you must have the following:
• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
• A warm and friendly personality with a commitment to working as part of a team of professionals.
• Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of Nursing Care with exceptional attention to detail.
• Flexibility with hours.
• Proficient computer skills (previous experience with General Practice software not essential but highly regarded, especially Best Practice).
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous General Practice experience not essential but desirable.
The position also includes the delivery of quality clinical nursing services to our contracted doctors and their patients, by providing chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, wound care, health assessments, recalls and reminders, assisting doctors with minor procedures, coordination of the treatment room and cold chain management.

Evans Head Medical Centre is also pleased to welcome Dr Alice Cheape to the practice. Alice has a diverse range of clinical experience from the UK and Australia. She relocated to the region in 2021 and has worked in numerous medical specialties in Byron Central Hospital and in emergency at Lismore Base Hospital.

Alice also has a keen interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine and has co-authored research articles in prominent medical journals including Australian Doctor. She is a senior general practice registrar and also works two days per week at Bay Medical Centre in Byron. Welcome Alice!
