Meet Chris 👋
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Clark, to the role of Practice Manager.
With 30+ years’ experience in health, Chris brings strong leadership, deep local knowledge and a passion for high quality, patient centred care. He’s widely respected across the Northern Rivers and has played a key role in strengthening primary care and championing culturally safe practice.
Chris supports the smooth running of our clinic and works closely with our wonderful, highly skilled and professional team of receptionists, nurses and doctors. Together, our cohesive team delivers the warm, high quality care our patients know and trust.

EHMC would like to welcome Chris Clark to his new role as 2IC, bringing more than thirty years of senior experience in the health sector. He holds qualifications in Health Science (Nursing), Health Promotion, Masters of Public Health, and Advanced Diploma in Business Management, and is widely respected for his leadership across the Northern Rivers and North Coast.
Chris has played a key role in shaping primary care in the region, helping establish family care and Headspace services, driving system reform, and championing culturally safe practice. Known for his calm, thoughtful approach, he navigates complex challenges with resilience and a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. Chris is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture built on openness, honesty, and respect.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys walking his dogs around Evans Head and is an accomplished sportsman, having competed at regional, state, and national levels. 🩺👋😊✨
