After closing for two weeks for renovations. We are back and open tomorrow from 9am!!!

We are missing our signs, still waiting, but everything else is ready and waiting for you!
Phones are back on, or pop in to make a booking..
Here is a mid reno photo... Don't want to give away too much...
The trades all worked super hard, long days, including weekends so we could get back tomorrow. It's been a massive effort.
I will do a separate post to thank them individually because the job they have done is spectacular. I'm so grateful and super excited for the future of the business and the pathways it will lead us.

And even better we now have Womens Pelvic Health appointments available in Evans Head!!!
I'm so excited to bring this much needed service to our community.

Just wanted to drop a little message to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! More importantly a massive thank you, to you all for sticking with us through a difficult 2021, a year of so many ups and downs. We look forward to seeing and helping old and new faces in 2022!

Many of the symptoms associated with MS are reduced through physical exercise. Exercise is a great way for everyone to stay strong, control weight, improve fitness and ward off chronic disease.
Research has indicated that person's with MS who engage in exercise have better brain health based on magnetic resonance imaging, better cognition based on speed of information processing, and increased mobility and cardiovascular health.
Physio and APA member Yvonne Learmonth wrote a fantastic piece on how exercise can help people experiencing symptoms of MS. Read her full article here;

Recently published research in Endocrinology suggests that we are capable of preventing cognitive decline depending on the lifestyle choices we make.

Specifically, the study states that participating in moderate-to-vigorous aerobic exercise 3 times or more per week led to a boost in the healthy brain biomarkers.

What does this mean for you?

Well if your in the middles or later stages of life, it might be time to evaluate how much exercise your getting. The idea is to get blood pumping and your heart rate up! Even just walking 3x per week can give your brain the boost it needs.
Dancing, running, hiking and biking are all fantastic ways to achieve this goal.

Of all the treatment options available for osteoarthritis there were only two things that the review could strongly recommend, based on the evidence.

These should be at the centre of everyone's treatment plan for osteoarthritis, and if you find other adjuncts helpful along the way then it might be an idea to include these as well.

The guidelines are called 'Guidelines for the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis'
