With over 20 years of dedicated experience in Mental Health Services, Nomsa is a highly respected mental health nurse practitioner known for her compassionate, evidence-based care and strong clinical leadership.

Her background spans in leading multidisciplinary teams, inpatient wards, community teams, crisis services, and nurse education—bringing deep insight into both complex mental health care and early intervention.

Nomsa holds three postgraduate master’s degrees (Mental Health Nursing, Forensic Mental Health, and Nurse Practitioner – Mental Health), also a Graduate Diploma of Midwifery and is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred support across all stages of mental health recovery.

Weight & Metabolic Solutions Australia is a unique multidisciplinary team that provide pre and post-operative care to patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. We have helped well over 3000 patients achieved their long term goal of losing weight becoming healthier inside and out. We are located on the Northside of Brisbane, at Chermside Westfield, within the Westpac Building.

We have surgeons who specialises in bariatric and laparoscopic procedures. Our team provide consistent, professional and uninterrupted care.

With the support of our multidisciplinary team we help obese people with weight related ailments achieve and retain long-term health goals. Our team consists of a surgeon, dietitian, psychologist, nurse psychiatrist, other specialists and support staff working collaboratively so that our patients can achieve not only their weight loss goals, but also enjoy a better quality of life without long term health problems.

Weight Loss Surgery: Orbera Intragastric Balloon, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Roux-en Y Gastric Bypass, One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass (formerly Mini Gastric Bypass), Bilio-Pancreatic Diversion, Duodenal Switch Surgery, and various revisional surgeries. General Surgery: Laparoscopic Surgery, Anti-Reflux Surgery, Gall Bladder Surgery, Major Bowel Surgery, Hernia Surgery, Vasectomy, Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Pilonidal Sinus Treatment (EPSIT), other surgical procedures.
