🩻 What is an X-Ray?

An X-Ray is a quick and commonly used scan that uses a small amount of radiation to create images of the body. Bones appear white, while muscles and other tissues show in shades of grey.

X-Rays can be done standing or lying down. The scan is painless, though you may feel slight discomfort from holding certain positions.

🖥️ What is an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound is a diagnostic scan that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal body structures.

Our qualified sonographers use a handheld device called a transducer, which is moved over the area being examined to capture images.

Clearview Medical Imaging provides a range of ultrasound services, including general, musculoskeletal, obstetric, breast, cardiac and vascular examinations.

Meet Dr Ryan Bruan, now performing a wide range of Interventional Procedures at Clearview Medical Imaging.

Dr Braun is an Interventional Radiologist with over 5 years of dedicated procedural experience. He completed his diagnostic radiology training at the State University of New York and specialised fellowships in Interventional Radiology at New York University (NYU) Langone in Manhattan, New York and the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney (Aus).
