It’s a sleepy Sunday and I’m still in my pyjama pants at midday! Sometimes we need to listen to the body and just slow down. And I’m so glad I did. Because in that quietude I was finally give some clarity that I have been asking for. Clarity often comes in those moments when we are not pushing or searching for it but rather just comfortable in the silence. How’s your Sunday vibes?

Some days feel heavy.
Slow.
Flat.
Like nothing is moving the way you hoped it would.

But beauty still exists while you’re finding your footing again.
Sometimes it’s sitting quietly just outside your window… in the rain, the changing leaves, the sound of the trees moving, the way the world keeps breathing around you.

Remember to look up.

You don’t need to get rid of the second wave. It will come.

The questioning.
The checking.
The “was that right?”

That’s not the problem.

The shift happens when you follow it.

When your attention moves away
from the first moment of intuition
and into the second wave, the left brain.

Because the first moment doesn’t disappear —
you just leave it.

And the more you move into the second wave,
the less clear everything feels.

Not because you’ve lost it.

But because your awareness has shifted.

You don’t need to stop the mind. Acknowledge it, thank it for its efforts. Then…

Stay where you were
before it started.

That’s what brings you back to clarity.

There’s a moment where you feel something clearly…
and then the second wave comes in. The second wave sounds like:

“Was that right?”
“Maybe I made that up…”
“What does that mean?”
Just like these cockatoos, I could feel that the timing of seeing these guys was significant, but I could have just as quickly dismissed that feeling.
Most people trust the second wave.

But the second wave is usually the mind.

The first moment — before that —
is where awareness was clean.

Not louder.
Not more dramatic.
Just… clear.

And the moment the second wave comes in,
awareness shifts.

You don’t need to fight it.
You don’t need to stop it.

Just start noticing it.

The first moment matters more than the explanation.

That’s where this work begins.
