Luke broke character for this one… but honestly, it needed to be said.
Hands-on work opens the window, strength keeps it open.
If your whole plan ends at the treatment table, you’re not creating change, you’re creating dependency.
Before we blame clients for “not doing their exercises,” we need to be real with ourselves:
Did we teach it properly?
Did we choose the right movements?
Or are we avoiding exercise because it feels uncomfortable for us?
This profession grows when we grow.
Stepping outside your comfort zone is part of being a better therapist, for your clients and for yourself.
Treat the tissue, strengthen the tissue, teach the tissue.
Let’s raise the standard together.
