Kids don’t always learn by sitting still and being told what to do!

They learn by moving, playing, watching, copying, asking the same question five times, getting it wrong, and trying again.

They learn through rhythm, routine, curiosity, and connection, with people, with animals, with the world around them.

And that kind of learning sticks, because it comes from experience, not just instruction.

About us:

Our close-knit team of 7 clinicians strongly believe in the ability of nature immersion to strengthen the effects of therapeutic interventions. As such we foster a neurodiversity-affirming, inclusive, and compassionate approach. We welcome and embrace diversity in all forms. LGBTIQA+ inclusion is a must for our community.

What we offer:

We welcome you to enjoy the lifestyle of the Byron Bay Hinterland while working on our beautiful property alongside a creek, wildlife, and native rainforest. Clinicians enjoy full administrative support, ease of scheduling, a flexible timetable, and a peaceful workspace surrounded by nature.
We welcome our therapists to deeply bond with our herd of brumbies and spend time in equine connectionβ€” through paddock hangs, groundwork sessions, our Qi Gong with the horses group, or simply being with our horses. This role facilitates a connection to our 80 acres of farmland, native rainforest, spring-fed creek, wildlife, and our horses.

Including:

β€” Regular group supervision

β€” Opportunities to shadow our senior clinicians, to further develop your professional confidence and clinical knowledge.
β€” Competitive above award remuneration ($120- 162 per session, depending on qualifications)

The days out here feel like a quiet reminder of how life was meant to be lived, barefoot in the grass, sun on your face, nothing to rush for. Just space to breathe, notice, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Nature has a way of showing us what really matters.

Therapy and play go hand in hand more often than people think. Sometimes the biggest shifts happen when we’re not trying too hard, just moving, exploring, laughing a little, and letting our guard down. Play makes space for trust, and trust makes space for healing.

We feel so lucky to walk alongside people in all kinds of life stages, messy, joyful, uncertain, and changing.

This quiet moment of Maxime and her little one feels like a gentle reflection of what this space is about. Slowing down, reconnecting, showing up as you are.

Again, couldn't be happier to have her back into the rhythm of our days!
