There’s a moment that tends to happen out here.

Things slow down a bit. You’re not rushing to explain yourself, and no one’s expecting you to have the answers straight away.

You might just be standing near a horse, noticing your breathing, or realising how tense you’ve been without really clocking it.

From there, things start to shift. Not all at once, just enough to feel a bit more settled, a bit more aware of what’s going on underneath.

That’s often where the work begins.

If you’ve been curious about this kind of space, you’re always welcome to reach out.

Here you’ll find psychologists, counsellors, occupational therapists, and a few four-legged colleagues all working together to support people through life’s messy bits.

Sessions might look like a chat under the trees, a quiet walk through the paddock, or learning something new about yourself while a horse grazes nearby. Different people need different kinds of support, and we’re here for all of it.

Nature has a funny way of stealing the show.
One minute you’re having a serious moment… the next a horse rolls in the grass or a frog hops past like it owns the place.

Honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Therapy gives people space to pause for a moment and sort through what’s going on.

Over time it can help with things like:
• understanding emotions a bit better
• building healthier coping strategies
• feeling less overwhelmed
• improving relationships
• reconnecting with a sense of calm and direction

Everyone’s path looks different, but having support along the way can make a big difference.

🌿 If you’ve been thinking about therapy, you’re welcome to reach out.

Working alongside horses can be a powerful way to support mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Some of the benefits people often experience include:
• improved emotional regulation
• increased confidence and self-awareness
• stronger communication and boundaries
• reduced anxiety and stress
• a deeper sense of connection and grounding

There’s something special about being outdoors, paying attention to a horse’s quiet signals, and learning to slow down together.

There’s a reason so many sessions happen outdoors.

Nature supports mental health in simple, powerful ways:

1 -Fresh air and sunlight help regulate sleep-wake cycles.

2 - Green spaces have been shown to reduce stress hormones.

3- Natural environments support nervous system regulation.

4 -Movement outdoors improves focus and mood.

5 -Sensory input from nature can ground anxious thoughts.

6 -Time away from screens reduces cognitive overload.

7 - Outdoor settings often increase engagement in therapy.

8 - Being around animals can enhance emotional connection and safety.

Steady ground, open sky, and a quiet horse nearby is enough to help things settle.

People always ask what happens in equine therapy.
Honestly? A lot of quiet noticing.

Horses are incredibly tuned in to body language and nervous systems. If you’re tense, they feel it. If you soften your breath, they respond. That real-time feedback is gold in therapy, it helps build awareness, regulation, and confidence in a way that feels natural rather than forced.

For kids and adults alike, standing next to a big animal and feeling calm is a pretty powerful experience. It’s steady. It’s grounding. And it sticks.

Stress doesn’t always look dramati and can show up smaller signals like; poor sleep, tight shoulders, a short fuse, or feeling flat more days than others. It's always worth stepping back and doing a check-in with yourself to see if you need support.
