About Us
ARC at Home Physiotherapy, a growing home visiting service in the Eastern and South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are currently looking to hire motivated physiotherapists to join our growing team on a part-time or casual basis. This position would be to cover our clients living in the South-Eastern suburbs and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Suburbs visited include: Frankston, Cranbourne, Berwick, Dandenong, Glen Waverley, Croydon, Rowville and surrounds.
We currently are a small team comprising of 5 physiotherapists and 1 physiotherapy assistant but we are growing in our client referral sources and numbers all the time.
We currently have part time and casual positions available, 1-2 days per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours if desired.
We see clients in their home environment as well as at local hydrotherapy pools and gyms to assist them to Achieve their goals, to help Rehabilitate them and to assist to Connect them back into their community.
We take the safety of our staff and our clients very seriously. In light of COVID 19, all staff are equipped with masks, safety glasses and gloves to ensure their safety when completing home visits. We also have Telehealth options for those clients who would prefer this option. Full training in Telehealth can be organised for the successful applicant should this be necessary.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills
The ability to develop a strong rapport with their clients
The ability to work with clients where English may be their second language and be respectful of other cultures
Experience working as a physiotherapist for more than a year
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use initiative when working alone in the home environment
Excellent mentoring skills to be able to teach and mentor our Therapy Assistant in roles they may need to undertake under your direction.
Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to apply evidence based practise to assist your client to be the best they can be
A current drivers' license and reliable car
AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
A desire to work with those with neurological conditions, disability or with the ageing population. Our client population is quite broad so the ability to treat a range of conditions is highly favourable.
Experience delivering hydrotherapy to clients is desirable
Only those with full Australian registration should apply as we do not have the ability to provide supervision to those awaiting Australian registration.
Successful applicants will need to obtain Police checks and Working with Children Checks in order to work with us.
