A few weeks ago, I ran a workshop for Speech Pathologists on working with children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, using the DTTC approach. 47 speech pathologists signed up, which was amazing!!

Another resource I've bene using a bit lately are my sound-loaded scenes from "Let's Grow Together". They are great for generalising sounds, both phonology and articulation errors. here are 's' and 's clusters' pictures we've used for a lisp.

Unpacking DTTC in Childhood Apraxia of Speech

This workshop has been developed based around the DTTC program developed by Dr Edyth Strand, my own clinical experience in working with CAS and real-life questions from clinical supervision sessions with speechies like yourself.

I've signed up to attend the Apraxia Kids Conference in early July!! Hope to pick up lots of new info to help the clients I work with who have Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). This is an area I love working in and also provide clinical supervision for other Speechies. The 2025 Apraxia Kids National Conference will be held live virtually July 9-12. The National Conference is geared towards the entire apraxia community including caregivers and families, professionals, researchers, and students who have an interest in learning more about childhood apraxia of speech....
