THE SILENT SIGNS OF PAIN IN PETS
They’re not “just slowing down.”
They’re not “grumpy” or “getting old.”
And no, they’re not fine just because they’re not crying.
Most pets suffer in silence.
In the wild, showing pain gets you left behind. Or targeted.
That instinct doesn’t go away just because they live on your couch.
We see it all the time:
– Cats hiding, grooming obsessively, missing the litter box
– Dogs sleeping more, licking joints, getting snappy or withdrawn
– Pets who still wag their tail — even with chronic pain
It’s not always a limp or a scream.
Pain in pets often shows up as behavioural changes, not drama.
So if your pet’s acting “off”, they probably are.
Pain relief isn’t just about comfort.
It’s about healing, movement, dignity, and time.
And your pet deserves all of it.
