Exsight Tandems Illawarra

Tandem cycling for riders with low vision or otherwise unable to ride a bicycle solo. Exsight runs entirely on volunteers.

Exsight is a not-for-profit group started in 2008 that aims to get those who wouldn't be able to cycle on their own out exercising and enjoying the wonderful environment in the Illawarra area of New South Wales. We have also branched into other recreational sports for vision impaired people, and we now offer acoustic target shooting as well – we are the only licensed club to do so in Australia. We became incorporated association with members in 2010, and Exsight Tandems Illawarra Inc is now a charity. Exsight operates primarily in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, but we also have members and tandem bikes in Sydney and Armidale, and target shooters in the Illawarra and Sydney.

He rode 1km for each year of his life, amazing.
