I’ve been asked a lot about this paper lately by many of our patients, so here it is! In summary - Vit B3 was shown to reduce SCCs and BCCs by 23% in patients with known disease and reduced pre- cancerous lesions in 13%. A supplement may help but there is never a better preventative than a great balanced diet with enough natural Vit B3 and sun being sun smart!

I have been saying it for 20 years - there is no such thing as a facial plastic surgeon. There are plastic surgeon’s and there are ENT surgeons. There is no RACS recognized speciality called facial plastic surgery.

It’s happening! The Australian Government are recognizing that gender affirming surgery is not cosmetic and we are currently underway to devise and wring approved Medicare numbers! This allows for real rebates for medical procedures and coverage through private health funds!!
