I have a couple of fortnightly or monthly places available from late February next year for people seeking supervision either online or in person (North Fitzroy or Parkville). I'm very committed to supervision practice and love working with those with lots of experience and equally with others just starting out.
I sit on the College of Supervision for PACFA, I'm a casual academic with ACAP (supervision) and I supervise individuals and groups from a variety of professions but am mostly interested in therapy and therapeutic case work.
I'm psychoanalytically trained and I'm also a Mental Health accredited Social Worker. I'm interested in therapy as an artistic practice, the philosophy of therapeutics, the intersection of law, literature and psychoanalysis and I'm strongly embedded in social justice frameworks. I've worked in all of the community practice areas in Melbourne and in private practice in Melbourne and internationally. Here's my website if you're interested. Group Supervision in 2025

Are You a Social Worker, Counsellor, or Psychotherapist Seeking Group Supervision?
The First Tuesday Supervision group is open to professionals employed in organisations, in private practice or contracting roles
Key Details:
Who: Counsellors, psychotherapists and social workers (currently 3 members, maximum of 5). Current participant focus is on trauma, supervising others including peer practitioners, eating disorders, general presentations, and supporting carers.
• When: First Tuesday of each month via Zoom, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
• Cost: $85 per session, 10 sessions per year.
• Recognition: Sessions can be claimed with ACA, AASW, and PACFA.
Session Format:
We rotate between:
• Reading discussions
• Individual presentations
• Clinical check-ins and group discussions
Facilitator Background:
I bring extensive experience teaching and supervising professionals across many fields, organisations and in private practice across Australia and in higher education (Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling programs) and serving on PACFA’s College of Supervision. I also offer supervision of supervision (SOS).
My Expertise Includes:
• Mental health, disability, chronic disease, housing, and homelessness
• Family violence, AOD, and social work in legal contexts
• LGBQTI+ support, child-focused therapy, forced adoption
• Supervision of international social workers and those pursuing accreditation

I'm happy to work with anyone. I'm especially interested in working with adults who were bright, gifted, talented or twice exceptional children; with artists and with people who feel that they're outsiders. LGBTQ+ people are so welcome.

My other areas of specialisation include attachment issues, long-term depression, feelings of isolation and unusual thoughts or experiences.

I'm now working in-person from both North Fitzroy and Parkville. I have a small number of spaces available for people with a mental health plan who would like to claim a medicare rebate for mental health counselling. Rebates are not available for psychoanalysis. Please be in touch if you're interested in sessions next year.

Hi there, practitioners.

I've had some enquiries about a monthly zoom supervision group to be held on a Tuesday evening - probably the second or the fourth Tuesday of the month. We would need at least two more participants to get this going.
