The Koori Way team from Lakes Entrance Aboriginal Health Association hosted a family open day, marched proudly in the Gippsland & East Gippsland Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd NAIDOC March and attended the GLaWAC Community event 🖤💛❤️

Our friends in the west got together to celebrate Community award winners Keicha Day, Maluda Onus-Peart, and Clayton Osborne-Cox, and create Cultural crafts 🪃

They also embodied this year's NAIDOC theme of The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy by having the kids proudly help Aunty Millie raise the flag 🖤💛❤️

They were joined by ambassadog Gracie, who proudly represented in her Flip The V**e shirt and kept Community company as they got some special The Koori Way facepainting done 🐩

From the Stars’ success on the field, winning three from three games, to the connection and support from the Mob who came to watch, the celebration of Culture, and those of you who came and saw us to learn about healthy lifestyle choices, it was an all-round deadly day 🖤⭐️❤️

💛 11.55am: Reserves match
❤️ 2.10pm: Senior men’s match against Laurimar FC, one versus two, this one will be a ripper match!

Head down to Sir Doug Nicholls Reserve to kick off NAIDOC Week with not one, but three games of footy ⭐

There will also be a range of Cultural activities, dancing, kids' entertainment, a fundraiser barbecue, and the footy canteen will be open 🌭
