This is a real problem in the medical field.

Often you leave appointments not feeling listen to or that you are on the right pathway to recovery

💡💡💡

It is genuinely such a joy to treat a minor ni**le with a few sessions of manual therapy, exercises and education to help prevent further injury

These sessions are always more productive as we don’t need to do as in-depth assessments and can spend more time on the treatment side of things 🎉

Recently, I have seen more of these early cases in clinic & results are so much quicker ⏩

Those of you who have had a substantial injury or chronic pain will know exactly what I mean here

So don’t sit on your pain, have it seen to before it becomes a big problem.. you won’t regret it 🙌🏽

And this is fact ✔️

If you are at home doing exercises that you can barely feel…

If you are choosing to only do your exercises 1-2 days a week when you were prescribed 5-7…

If you are performing the exercises but rushing through them and not putting in the effort…

Then know that this will not change you.. not very fast that’s for sure 🙅🏽‍♀️

Always remember, if it doesn’t challenge you, it WON’T change you‼️

Put the effort in and reap the rewards troops 🎉🤸🏽‍♀️

🦶🏽ANKLE SPRAINS 🦶🏽

Here’s all you need to know about the always inconvenient ankle sprain ➡️

Sprains are graded depending on a number of factors but mainly level of damage to ligaments and resulting instability

This is why low grade sprains heal up nicely in a few weeks, whereas, high grade sprains take months ⏱️

What’s important is that you are diagnosed, graded and start a rehab program that will help you heal in the right time

We also want to make sure you don’t begin to compensate with another body part, resulting in a second injury 🙅🏽‍♀️

Take your ankle sprain seriously & do the work early on, otherwise you will be caught out down the line when you get back into sport/exercise ‼️
